Pregnancy Update

18 weeks and so far, so good! Everything is going great. I've had several OB appointments, and everything is going as it should.
I'm feeling a lot better than I was my first trimester, which I've read is normal.
I have an ultrasound in two weeks. Hopefully we will find out what we're having then! My mom thinks I'm having a boy. Shannon, my volunteer supervisor at Primary Children's, thinks I'm having a girl. We'll see. Erick and I are just thrilled to be pregnant and we'll take whatever Heavenly Father gives us! :)

Underland Chronicles

I just finished the Underland Chronicles by Suzanne Collins. She is the woman who wrote Hunger Games. Gregor the Overlander is her first book and I wanted to see how it compared.

Gregor is an eleven-year-old boy who lives in New York City. His little sister, Boots, crawls into a ventilation grate in the laundry room of their apartment complex, and Gregor decides he needs to follow her. They both fall into the mysterious place called the Underland.

This story somewhat resembles Alice in Wonderland. It was great! Gregor meets giant cockroaches, humans who have never seen the light of day, among other fantastic creatures.

I liked this series. It's about a 5th grade reading level (according to Scholastic). It's not as awesome as Hunger Games, but it is still a great series. If you are looking for a quick read, read this! :) I can definitely see at least one movie made out of this.
